ABOUT THE PROJECT

This conceptual advertising poster series explores three of the Seven Deadly Sins through the playful world of Sesame Street. I selected Pride, Greed, and Gluttony and paired each sin with a character whose personality could visually represent the theme: Grover for Pride, Count von Count for Greed, and Cookie Monster for Gluttony.

The goal was to transform each character into a stylized advertising poster while maintaining a cohesive visual system across the three-piece series.

BEHIND THE DESIGN

Each poster combines digital painting, illustration, typography, and textured backgrounds to create a playful interpretation of its assigned sin. I recreated the characters using Photoshop brushes, using an iPad and Apple Pencil for greater control while painting. The artwork was then refined in Illustrator, while Procreate was used to create crayon-textured backgrounds in purple, orange, and yellow.

The same composition and visual style connect all three posters, while changes in character, color, and messaging give Pride, Greed, and Gluttony their own identities.
